Album Info:This album commemorates what is commonly called the 'peavine'. it was originally called the Charleston, Cumberland Gap, and Cincinnati RR. but went bankrupt due to the civil war, later on an entity called the Morristown, Cumberland Gap and Ohio began service on this line, and soon after, it became a subsidy of the Southern RR. and It went defunct by 1930 when the holston river was flooded, and the line up to the grainger co bridge was used by southern for passenger and freight service. it opened up grainger county to industry.
